(More customer reviews)I bought two of these along with a Reese 73831 flush mount brake light for $9.99. Even though both products bear the Reese brand and both were made in Taiwan, the brake light was shoddy and this item is quite robust and well-designed. It comes with a standard 1157 bulb. I am replacing mine with a 13-SMD white LED. There is room for the older style of LED bulbs with fewer than 57 LEDs, but you should wait until it arrives so you can measure the clearance if you intend to buy LEDs. The "snap-off" lenses can be removed with your largest screwdriver without damage, but you would have to be very strong to remove one with a quarter. There are slots on both sides of both lens mounts for this purpose so access is not a problem. The socket is strong. My first choice was the type with an alloy base, black powder coat and screw attachment for the lenses, but this was far cheaper and looks fine. You can buy these under a variety of brand names, and they probably all come off the same assembly line, but you can't beat Amazon's price.
