There is one piece of advise I wanted to pass on. If you install it, get the FM Mod. It's a devise that plugs into the unit and into your antenna. Without that, and it's optional, sound is transmitted to your FM radio. If you happen to get near a strong radio station near the same frequency you are going to get bleed, his, and pop. The FM Mod is about $25 at the most and is worth it.

Wireless Headphones The VOD100 includes a built-in infrared transmitter for use with the two supplied wireless headphones. The headphone volume is adjusted independently, using the controls on each headset.
Any number of wireless headphones may be used but they must be used within a line of sight from the transmitter, as infrared transmissions, like visible light travel only in a straight line.
Wireless Remote A full-function wireless remote is also included for easy control of your device without reaching for the roof. Backlit controls make use in the dark a snap.
Dome Lights The VOD100 features dome lights with a built-in three-way switch for interior lighting.
