Swapping the lights was super easy, it even eliminated two screws (on each light) that were in a VERY hard to reach place (between the rear hatch weather stripping and the light itself). The fit itself is super tight, but it's perfect because I promptly went out and put them through some serious abuse (on gravel roads). No scratches or anything breaking loose as of yet!!! I'll update this review after the next rain we get here and after I take them skiing this weekend, we'll see if they survive the cold wet environment!
