(More customer reviews)The most useful purpose of a jack is to lift your car when you need to do so, well, this one does not do that. At first try, connecting it to the cigarette adapter, at the time it started to lift the tire, it blew out the car fuse. It is supposed to lift up to 3.5 tons, a lot more that what my wife's car, a 2008 Mazda 5, weight at the front. After buying and replacing the fuse I was afraid to try it again and then I went to buy an adapter to connect it direct to the battery terminals. I was very optimistic and sure that now it will work as shown at the video included in Amazon's page. This time there was not any blew fuse but just at the same lifting stage as when the fuse was blown out the jack stop lifting, the motor was still running but the action stop and not only upward but also downward!!
It was necessary to lift the car a bit with another jack to release the load from the Instajack JK-100 and have it working again. It doesn't stand the load. I am not that kind of persons that like to give hard feedback for nothing neither use strong words to support my frustration but this time I fill like doing so. This beautiful jack is just a piece of sh..., a crap and I don't recommend it to no one. This is not that type of case when you can say to others to go a spend a few bucks more and buy something better because this is the most expensive electric jack I've found in Amazon pages. I'm sending it back for a refund. I really appreciate the fast reaction from Amazon, they are really professional people and their customers service is one of the best. Hope this words will help others.
