(More customer reviews)I bought these shocks for my 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 Van. I was troubled after comparing the new shock to the OEM shock. They are not exactly alike. The original shock has a large rubber isolator with a steel sleeve, and a long upper post. The Monroe shock looks the same on the lower mount, but the upper isolator is MUCH smaller than the original, and looks like it belongs on a half-ton truck. I contacted Monroe & they assured me that the replacement shock will work work fine in this application. I've been driving with the new shocks for a week and they have helped soften the ride somewhat. Just be sure to re-tighten the upper mounting nut AFTER the truck is sitting on the front wheels. Over-all I am satisfied with these shocks.
