(More customer reviews)These lights are very effective. The hardware is basic but adequate and the wiring relatively easy to set up. Installation took me about 2 hours. I could not get the on/off switch to illuminate but I'm not really 100% sure that its supposed to, although it looks like an illuminated switch. The lights themselves are fantastic. They provide a lot of focused illumination, if aimed correctly, exactly where you need it and are a huge improvement for night driving. We're using these on a Dodge 4X4 truck and we drive a lot of rural, twisty mountain roads. The OEM Dodge headlights are not very effective compared to the Hella's, even with upgraded 'xenon' bulbs. Frankly, I don't know how we saw much without these auxilary lights. So far, they seem to stay aimed and not loosen up and the covers are great for daytime protection against stones/debris. Installing and removing the covers does not mess up the lights' aim if done correctly. Pretty good value for the price. Instructions could be a little more detailed and mounting options could be shown. Overall, very satisfied.
