The description header called this item a "light". They are a pair. I bought two lights and ended up with 2 pair. [...] dollars is cheap for 1 light, for a pair I would have passed them by. For 55 Watt halogen lights they are dim and yellow. My 6 year old headlights are way brighter. The light itself looks nice but the mounting hardware is pressed sheet steel, very thin and bends just breathing on it. They are already catching moisture inside after 2 days. I will try to put 100 watt bulbs in them and see if there is any hope since I fashioned brackets already. Im probably throwing good money after bad.
A great idea : a slim, plastic housed, bargain off road light. In this implementation it is almost useless. Not at all what I expect from Pilot :C
Shame Shame...
UPDATE 10/26: I added 100 watt bulbs and some washers to the mount points and it is brighter and little more rigid. They still feel weak but are acceptable with the brighter bulbs even though they do not have a BEAM but a lighted AREA. The moisture inside dried up but one of the lights is not firmly in the housing and I had to tape the top. I have to admit I will replace them without much hesitation. It was not a good use for [...]$. Sorry Pilot, they really are fair at best.
