It is a great way to create a trunk in your truck if you do not have a toolbox or want to keep some things out of the elements or more secure in the cab. I used to have a bunch of items simply stuffed under the bench seat hoping they would not roll around or be seen; the Duha keeps them in place and creates a factory appearance wall underneath the seat to keep prying eyes out.
Installation is easy...it took longer to clean out all the stuff under my seat where the unit goes than to actually install the unit. I have a 2001 Ford F-150 Super Cab. My only complaint about the unit itself is the hole cut for the factory jack is not very precise or the unit warped somewhat in storage/shipping/manufacturing in that area. I just had to whittle out that area a little and it now fits great and secures snugly to the floor via the jack's weight and the factory anchor screw and wingnut for it. Also, the optional cable locks were too short for my truck. I would recommend passing on them and go to your local farm or hardware supply to buy some cut to your length and coated or cable. I simply bought some lengths of small chain and that allowed me to use better locks and determine how tight/loose I wanted the chain by taking up/letting out slack. Putting the locks on does not interfere with the rear doors closing my super cab closing. Installation consists simply of lifting up the bench seat, wedging the unit in and then replacing the jack and screwing down the factory wingnut for the jack cover.
I have a toolbox which keeps most of my stuff that I am not concerned about the elements affecting. So, I use the Duha for storing items from shopping to keep out of sight. As the pictures show, the unit holds guns really well too which I keep in the cab when I go hunting. Two long guns are the max but you still have room to put things like binoculars, rangefinders, ammo, etc. The only thing is that if you use heavily padded soft gun cases then the included slot racks do not work very well and space shrinks considerably when you store two long guns.
The unit is attractive and matches my interior color. It is a great "catch-all" bin for people with trucks. Other than the cutout for the jack the unit fits perfectly underneath the seat and does not affect the opening or closing of the folding bench seats I have. There is still enough room for me to stick my hand up to the wrist between the bottom of the seat and the lip of the unit. However, you will have to open it since if you grab anything you will not be able to extract through that small space with a closed hand. A good point I think since it means that if you lock your seats then someone will have to cut them to steal anything should they get into your truck.
I highly recommend this product as a great organizer and keeper of odds and ends and has lasted me well for over two years.

Your F150 factory jack & tools bag comes installed under back seat. To install the DU-HA you'll have to remove the jack & tools bag. The jack & tools bag can be stored inside the
DU-HA storage bin.
