(More customer reviews)The harness makes little sense, its evidently setup to run 4 H7 bulbs and has very generic directions for H4 installation on the back of the packaging. Contacting Putco directly for assistance has netted me NO reply. My understanding was that this would take the factory headlight connector as an input and then provide direct power from the battery to the head lights via relays, which it looks like it can do..but in a very confusing manner. Both inputs are next to each other on the harness which is pretty useless unless both your headlights are on the same side of the car (I know mine are not, have yet to see a car that is like that), if you have a large engine bay expect this not to reach without adding extra wiring, it uses fusible links (wires that burn) instead of inline fuses.
The harness itself is constructed poorly. There is exposed wiring hanging out from from one of the relay connectors. When I plugged the connectors into a bulb and into the bulb socket and then unplugged them the spade terminals pulled out of the plastic sockets and would not snap back into the plastic sockets or stay locked into them. The vinyl insulation on the wiring seems very stiff and cheap, the plastic encasing the harness wiring is BRIGHT yellow and just sort of slid on there, not heat shrunk into place. The product image is very generic and is NOT of the harness you will get. It looks like they took an H4 harness and just butchered some H7 connectors onto it.
