(More customer reviews)I bought these for a journey from southern Mississippi to Alaska. I did not need them much, as we did the trip after the lengthening days, but when we used them the vastly enhanced the night visibility in my older Nissan Pathfinder. They are not designed for urban use, but on long stretches in rural areas, they can be aimed about 200-400m down the highway to cover both the road and both shoulders, eliminating possibility of collision with deer, elk, bison, etc. It is true that 'Light Force' units are in vogue here in the arctic, but for the price, these HC's are a great value.
Installation was straightforward and took about 2 hours including drilling, mounting, wiring, and aiming the lights. All parts are included, instructions are thorough, and the wiring harness is long enough for roof rack mounts if desired.
I recommend, but on my next vehicle, I may upgrade to Light Force, but at double or triple the price.
