(More customer reviews)The brackets are already rusty and they have been on my Jeep for less than six months. The assembly is cheap. I seriously doubt they will "guard" anything from breakage. I am now regretting not having sent them back when I got them... I was feeling optimistic, I guess. Save your money and look for something a bit more substantial.
