(More customer reviews)my original ballast from a different HID company failed. I guess it was in a spot too hot and died after 7 months of constant use.
anywho, this replacement does the job. I also relocated it to a cooler spot in the engine bay. I didn't see a flicker as one review said, but if your headlight flickers YOU NEED A RELAY HARNESS. keep that in mind, I have friends who complain that their hid kit flickers but the installation of the relay harness solved the problem and the harness is simple to install into the battery.
it is important that if your hid kit has a different brand, look at the specifications on the ballast to make sure it matches exactly to what you have.
you may have issues if one ballast has different specs than the other one. for the most part, most replacement ballasts are universal so it shouldn't be an issue for most cars.
HID Outlet shipped the item fast and it was packed well.
