(More customer reviews)My factory cap is under a recall. I've replaced it twice. First time was at 4000 miles. In a word the factory cap is junk. Buy this one and be over it. This cap will fit next to the filler neck when filling with gas. Stant 10841 is the proper cap for the 2005 GTO. Application guide will say different.
